Murray Sargant is the Senior Vice President of Asia Pacific and Japan at Informatica and is based in Hong Kong. In his role at Informatica, Mr. Sargant leads all business, sales and customer facing operations for the company in Asia Pacific and Japan. With 25 years senior executive experience in developing and growing businesses in Asian Pacific markets Mr. Sargant previously served as vice president, Asia Pacific and Japan for SuccessFactors, where he led the fast growing company’s rapid expansion throughout Asia. Prior to SuccessFactors, he was a senior vice president Financial Services at SAP, where he was instrumental in driving new sales and service delivery across Asia Pacific and Japan. Mr. Sargant has also held key executive and sales leaderships positions in the Asia Pacific, North Asia and Australia/New Zealand regions with PeopleSoft, Misys, Compaq, Tandem Computers and NCR. An active speaker/presenter in the Executive arena, Mr. Sargant regularly presents at conferences and is invited on many panel discussions with other experts in the enterprise and executive arena. Mr. Sargant holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Technology, Sydney Australia, and majored in Information Technology and Marketing. |

Prior to joining Informatica, he had a strong financial background and qualified as an accountant before working with companies such as iAnywhere Solutions, NetGenesis, Inktomi Corporation and PwC.
