Session Descriptions

Keynote Address: Delivering Great Data In The Age Of Engagement
Murray Sargant, Senior Vice President Asia Pacific & Japan, Informatica

Organisations that focus on data have been shown to have better financial performance. We are moving from an era of cost optimisation and productivity to an age of engagement. This engagement is with customers, partners, third parties, and machines. At the center of every winning business strategy is data. We will talk about how to accelerate your organisation’s results using the Intelligent Data Platform to manage data of any type and from any source to drive better business outcomes.

Informatica Platform Strategy
Joshy George & Anand Ramamoorthy, Informatica

The Intelligent Data Platform provides a single source of complete, clean, timely and safe data for use by everyone in the organisation. In this session we will demonstrate the new and upcoming features of the platform. Specifically we will show how Informatica Rev enables business analysts to significantly cut the time required for data prep work, freeing more time to focus on analytic insights. We will also show how the new Live Data Map and Intelligent Data Lake will be used to provide a highly intuitive and productive environment where all members of an organisation can quickly locate and use the data they need for projects. We will show how the platform is increasingly providing intelligence to guide users to the best and most relevant data, enabling both business and technical users to discover, manage, and utilise data they need to accelerate their initiatives and drive business results.

The CrimTrac Agency - Key considerations , challenges and benefits of integrating core business systems with IIR
Paul Pajalic & Anjanette Manwaring, The CrimTrac Agency

In 2014 the CrimTrac Agency delivered a Name Match upgrade project to integrate the Informatica Identity Resolution (IIR 9.53) product into one of its major production systems. There was considerable effort from concept to implementation of the project to verify IIR’s suitability as the corporate identity search solution, including stakeholder engagement, ensuring user confidence, and delivering an integrated production strength solution to support the demands of national policing. With the help of Informatica, identity searching is no longer an area of confusion and complex stove pipe solutions but is an elegant, reusable, and extendible solution that has opened the door for many business opportunities.

Great Secure Data for Analytics using the Informatica Platform
Clive Astbury & Murali Ramakrishnan, Informatica

Learn how the Informatica Platform can facilitate and accelerate self-service analytics with clean, accurate, and secure “business ready” data, whilst upholding IT governance within your organisation.

Total Customer Relationship - Customer-Centricity: Using Great Customer Data to Power Great Customer Experiences
Monica Mullen & Jason Mallia, Informatica

Gartner predicts that by 2016, companies will primarily compete on the customer experiences they deliver. The problem is that marketing, sales, and call center teams struggle to deliver seamless, integrated, and consistent customer experiences across channels and touch points. Why? Their business and analytical applications are powered by inaccurate, incomplete, and disconnected customer information.
