Course Overview

In this four-day, instructor-led course students will learn to administer the Informatica PowerCenter Platform. The course is intended for Informatica PowerCenter administrators with one year or more of professional experience or having attended Informatica PowerCenter Level 1 Developer or Informatica Data Services Level 1 Developer training class. Topics covered include: Informatica 9 architecture, installing the platform, configuring add and manage services, and platform best practices for users, groups, privileges, roles, and permissions.

Additional topics include backing up and migration of the Informatica domain database, implementing repository metadata reporting, using the command line, and setting up Reference Table management.
