Course Overview
This course continues the project methodology discussion started in the MDM Implementation: Methodology Beginner Course and is designed for people who will be managing an MDM Implementation project. It assumes the learner is already knowledgeable about general project management principles. This training highlights aspects of the Informatica Velocity methodology needed for MDM implementation projects and reviews the skill requirements, responsibilities, and scheduling for the MDM project team roles. Included is a discussion of tasks, checkpoints, and areas that can be adapted for use with an Agile-based methodology.
Objectives
After successfully completing this course, students should be able to:
- Understand the Informatica Velocity Methodology and how to apply it to MDM projects
- Learn about the different implementation team member roles, the skills needed and the task responsibilities
- Learn about tasks and checkpoints for MDM
- Understand which tasks might be possible in an Agile-based project methodology
