Informatica World Tour – Amsterdam is a half day event that brings together the Data Community’s brightest minds to push the boundaries of current thinking and discuss the role of data in the real-time digital enterprise of the future.

The agenda is based on the most popular sessions from the recent Informatica World event held in San Francisco. (Customer) speakers from PostNL, Tesla Motors, Essent, Stolt-Nielsen & International Baccalaureate Office (IBO) (amongst others) will share their experiences, while internationally acclaimed thought leaders in the area of the monetization of companies' available (big) data, and Informatica’s Chief Executive Officer Anil Chakravarthy, will show how Data is powering Innovation, Understanding, Compliance, Engagement and Life.

Jim Stolze, speaker, moderator and consultant on Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship.

He is also the ambassador for Europe, the founder of TEDxAmsterdam and a popular moderator.

He is the presenter of the weekly Dutch television program Toekomstmakers (“Future Makers”), a program about science and innovation in corporates and startups, where they talk about all kinds of inventions, hypes and trends.

In his latest book ‘Uitverkocht!’ (‘Sold Out!’) he describes the Attention Economy. Many companies claim to centralize their customers, but in most cases they’re still finding the right way to pay attention and earn attention. The book was nominated ‘management book of the year’.


Vincent Harmsen, Vice President EMEA North West EMEA – Informatica

Vincent Harmsen is the Vice President, North West EMEA at Informatica. Over the last 2 decades he held leadership roles for a number of respected software companies. Since 2 years he heads up Informatica’s business in the Benelux, Nordics & France where he successfully led highly professional teams to help customers and partners to succeed on their data initiatives and turn data into a vital asset.

Anil Chakravarthy

Anil Chakravarthy, Chief Executive Officer – Informatica

Anil Chakravarthy is the chief executive officer of Informatica. Previously, Anil was the executive vice president and chief product officer responsible for product development, product management and product marketing.

Prior to Informatica, for nearly a decade, Anil held leadership roles at Symantec Corporation. Most recently Anil was the executive vice president of Information Security at Symantec.

Prior to Symantec, Anil led product management for enterprise security services at VeriSign. Chakravarthy began his career at McKinsey & Company, where he rose to become the co-leader of the E-Business Practice in the Business Technology Office.

Anil received a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from the Institute of Technology, Varanasi, India. Additionally, Chakravarthy received his Master of Science and Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
