The Age of Engagement — The Challenges We Face During the Customer Journey in the Omnichannel and in the Age of Digitalization

Time: Friday March 20, 2015

Dr. Georg Loepp, Account Executive Master Data Management (MDM), Central Europe, Informatica

Having left the ages of industrialization and automation behind us, we're now in a period where customer focus and customer relationships are taking center stage. Market players who use digital media to reach out to customers faster than their competitors have a distinct advantage in their industry. In the future, it will no longer be enough to simply know who your customers are and what products they are interested in — how customers behave in the various contact channels will also play an increasingly significant role. This presentation will analyze the various challenges of this new age in more detail, including a look at some actual, customer-specific solution scenarios.

Intelligent Data Management and Architectures for Flexible Reporting and Analytics

Time: Wednesday March 18, 2015

Dr. Martin Hebach, Solution Architect, Informatica

For business intelligence tasks and performance management within a company, end users now have access to a wide range of tools which they can use to create an almost unlimited variety of analyses and reports in different display formats. However, it can initially be time-consuming to create the database and configure it to provide high-quality output. The ever-increasing variety within the data available, the rate at which data is generated and the growth in data volumes are all factors that make the situation even more challenging.

In addition to its tried-and-tested integration platform, Informatica offers tools to consolidate data from a wide range of sources in a variety of formats — without compromising on quality. The resulting metadata can also be managed end-to-end, which is useful for transparency, agility and quality.

The presentation will take a closer look at what options are currently available to meet these challenging requirements more rapidly while simultaneously improving quality, covering the entire process right through to self-service data integration by end users.
