He is currently head of the Arhis MDM Factory in South of Europe where he manages a specialized team of software engineers and consultants dedicated to the delivery of MDM solutions. UBS needs to have a clear view on who their clients are globally and what issuers particular instruments are issued by. Recent years have re-affirmed that the ability to monitor counterparty exposure and risk are crucial to a firm’s success. Legal Entity Master is a system that acts as a golden source for Legal Entity data to the Client and Issuer mastering systems across the UBS business areas e.g. IB, Asset management, Wealth management. This then enables group wide functions such as Finance and Risk to use the Legal Entity Master ID and data to aggregate across the different businesses to give a Single Entity View.
