Technology megatrends such as SaaS, social, mobile and Internet of Things are transforming where business data resides, what business data is comprised of, how we access business data and who are the users of business data. The result is that every company, in every industry, must respond to these megatrends and manage data in a new way as the where, what, how and who of business data is now in a hybrid world and eventually moving to the cloud. In this session, learn about Informatica’s industry first complete Cloud Integration and Data Management platform for the move to the cloud. Key use cases for journey to the cloud includes data migration, data synchronisation & replication, cloud process automation, cloud mdm, lift and shift patterns, cloud analytics and cloud data warehousing.

On the digital transformation journey to become a data ready enterprise, information needs to change from maintained information to managed information. Our vision is to predict the next logical action based on master data. Information must be more relevant to business users and customers. The strategy of Informatica is continuing bundling a wider offer of MDM fueled apps and solutions which are dedicated to a certain use case, an industry and the work of governance, stewardship and business user roles.

"Gartner estimated that over 50% of application consolidation and migration projects fail. The key to lowering the risk of these projects is using industry-leading data management tools, engaging with the business, and employing a mature and proven methodology. We will show how Informatica can do all three of these things to ensure a successful application project. We will also show how the same tools and skills you used in the application consolidation & migration projects can ensure the ongoing success of your application portfolio after your migration project has gone live.

A winning analytics strategy is a journey. Most organisations today have data marts, data warehouses. Many are moving to add realtime, big data, and data lakes to their analytics portfolio. The organisations that excel in this space will be those that have a consistent approach and architecture for delivering great data for their analytics use regardless of the use case, BI tool, or user type. We will talk about approaches for delivering decision-ready data to speed up the delivery of actionable business insights.
