Speaker: Piet Loubser, Vice President of Platform Marketing, Informatica

Piet Loubser serves as Vice President of Platform Product Marketing at Informatica. He is responsible for the holistic positioning of the Informatica Platform, and driving broader adoption of the Informatica portfolio. Loubser’s professional career includes more than 25 years in the IT industry driving strategic marketing, product marketing, sales and software development. Prior to Informatica, Loubser headed up Service and Portfolio Product Marketing at HP, and before that he led the global Market Intelligence group at SAP. Loubser joined SAP as part of the Business Objects acquisition, where he led Portfolio Market Strategies. While at Business Objects, he held numerous positions in regional sales management and business development in offices within the United States, Europe and South Africa. In various strategic roles, Loubser has developed business and go-to-market strategies for software solutions in several regions. Loubser holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa.

Speaker: Ian Cohen, Master Data Management Specialist, Informatica

With more than 10 years’ experience in the field of Information Management, Ian has been at the forefront of helping major organisations to harness their data assets more effectively. Customers that Ian has worked with include major Financial Services organisations, Government departments, Life Sciences and Healthcare providers, manufacturing organisations and travel / tourism providers. Project areas have included Customer Centricity, GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance), product repositories, and Reference Data. At Informatica Ian supports Master Data Management sales activity across Northern Europe and Middle East and Africa and regularly advises customers on how to effectively utilise MDM and related technologies. Prior to Informatica Ian has held similar roles at IBM and Initiate Systems.

3. Application Ready: “Lower Your Risk for Application Consolidation & Migration Projects”

Speaker: Steve Holyer, EMEA Data Security Group Domain Expert Informatica

Steve Holyer has been working internationally in the IT industry for more than 18 years, including many years spent at IBM as a senior consultant and a technical delivery manager. Steve has worked with many culturally diverse teams to ensure a high standard of client satisfaction, solutioning, architecture and governance. One of these domains was the Application ILM (Information Lifecycle Management) and Security.

Over the last seven years he focused on the Data Management and Security space, building an extensive knowledge which he acquired during working with both the IBM and Informatica solutions. Steve joined Informatica in 2013 and has since worked with and presented to a number of strategic clients around Data Management.

4. Decision Ready: “To Compete on Analytics, First Compete on Data”

Speaker: Frederic Azar - Senior Presales Consultant, MENA

After graduating with Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Notre Dame University in Lebanon, Frederic moved to France in 2001 where he worked with leading SIs delivering cutting edge BI solutions using mainly Informatica technology. He was approached by Informatica IPS team in 2007 where he played a Technical Account Manager role for several of Informatica’s customer in Europe and North America.

In 2011, Frederic accepted a challenge to move back to his home country. He successfully helped establish the only Informatica partner in the land of Cedars. During a period of over 3 years, and in the midst of a very difficult economical and geopolitical environment, maaloomatiia had successfully added 5 new logos into Informatica’s portfolio including top 3 local banks, number 1 university and the number 1 Telco in the country.

Frederic was called back to join Informatica team in MEA. He now focuses on assisting enterprises understand the importance of data and how they can leverage data to be successful using Informatica technology.

Speaker: Lindsay Jones, EMEA Cloud Account Manager

Helping customer deliver great customer experiences through Good Data practices. Been woking in the Cloud eco-system with many of the large cloud players like Salesforce.com, Netsuite, Veeva and Zuora for many years. Whilst at Informatica Cloud, Lindsay has been involved with Cloud transformation projects with BT, Vodafone, Travel Corporation, News UK, Mix Telematics, CAP Security & ArcelorMittal.

6. From Data Governance Strategy to organisational steady-state - Key ingredients for Data Governance success by Entity Group Partner Presentation

Speaker: Tajinder Bassi, Data Strategy Architect, Entity Group

Taj is an experienced Architect in data management who not only advises clients on data governance and data management but also executes against his own advice, thereby delivering solutions based on data management best practices. He is extremely strong in delivering MDM with Data Governance, delivering such solutions for over 10 years having been the first MDM Architect in Europe for Siperian prior to their acquisition by Informatica. Taj has 25+ years experience in data management, and always approaches data initiatives with a good sense of reality and pragmatism and is a strong believer of “incremental delivery by value”. His experience has spanned many sectors, business functions and data domains across Europe, Middle East and South Africa.
