Informatica Day – London is a full day event that brings together the Data Community’s brightest minds to push the boundaries of current thinking and discuss the role of data in the real-time digital enterprise of the future.

The agenda features the most popular sessions from the recent Informatica World event held in Las Vegas – with keynote presentations from IDC’s Research Director, Philip Carnelley and Informatica’s Executive Vice President & CMO Marge Breya.

Discover more about Informatica’s vision for the new data-centric world, and discuss innovations that will take the concept of a data platform to an entirely new level. You’ll learn:

  • How the Intelligent Data Platform unleashes a new level of data-driven business potential by making data self-organising, secure, trusted and more easily consumed by people, applications, devices and things.

  • How the Project Springbok data harmonisation solution empowers non-technical users to find, assemble, combine, improve and share data sets – resulting in clean, safe and connected data that is decision-quality.

  • How Secure@Source™ is a fundamentally new way of looking at security – with the data-centric approach giving companies the ability to discover, protect, and detect sensitive data across the enterprise.

  • How Informatica MDM 10 makes it even easier for business users to gain a 360 degree view of critical business entities including customers, suppliers, products and assets.

The Salesforce platform delivers huge capability to its clients but the data within it requires careful management. This Cloud track will take an in-depth look at the key areas of focus, and how an integrated data suite for Salesforce can address them.

Business agility is driving the need to transform from an application-centric to a data-centric enterprise. As a result, the business application landscape is constantly evolving – leaving a trail of aging data and legacy apps that consume your IT budgets and fragment your security architecture.

Data archiving helps IT leaders retire legacy applications, reduce costs, and meet governance and compliance requirements while simplifying IT. During this track you’ll learn how our customers are saving millions while maintaining access to chapters of corporate history – safely and securely throughout the information lifecycle.

  • Learn how a large printer manufacturer is minimising the impact of aging data on production performance Smart Partitioning

  • Hear how two large UK banks saved £100M by retiring more than 100 legacy applications while retaining the data for compliance.

Great data – whether it’s big or small – is never an accident. It’s by design. And what makes data great? It’s about how well you and your team can find, cleanse and transform data to fit your business needs.

In this track we will introduce you to Informatica’s latest Data Integration & Data Quality 9.6 release. This is the industry’s first data integration and quality platform to take the guesswork out of Great Data with:

  • Self-service agile data integration for the “analyst”

  • New Business-IT collaboration for streamlining the development lifecycle

  • Intuitive holistic governance for the data steward.
